Producer, musician, and composer Eva Lunny shapes sonically diverse soundscapes and neoclassical harp pieces, building on themes of memory, space, spiritual growth and meditation.
Her influences include jazz-harp pioneers Dorothy Ashby and Alice Coltrane, as well as a collection of contemporary ambient and neoclassical musicians. Eva’s process includes hours of improvisation balanced with considered production and free-flowing experimentation, resulting in complex layers of sounds and distinctive distortion of a both uniquely classical and contemporary instrument.
Her album Sonics & Meditations is out June 9th on Bella Union’s Private Pressing.
